The type of fencing that you chose will definitely attract your guest or even passersby, plus giving you enhanced curb appeal and in a way describing a little bit about yourself to the people outside. Below are some of the steps to enable you to install your own home\’s fencing.
What you need:

- Assemble the Fence Panels
- Permanently Set the Posts

- Power Saw
- Post Hole Digger
- Paint or Outdoor Stain

- Gravel or Sand
- Nails
- Hand Saw
- Hammer

Method:
- First of all, you need to determine your property line boundary before putting up any type of fencing. Mark out the location line of the fence you would like to install and the corner post holes using a spray paint, plus also marking the locations for all the remaining line posts with evenly specific distance between posts, for example, approximately 8 feet.
- After that, you need to dig holes with approximately 24-inch deep and 10-inch diameter by using a post holes digger. Then, for drainage purposes, you can add a few inches of gravel to the bottom of the holes.
- Then, you need to insert the corner posts into holes and ensure that the posts are leveled and plumbed. You also need to temporarily brace the posts with a 2-inch-by-4-inch attached to the post tops and grounds.
- You also have to run a string line from the top edges of the corner posts and ensure that it is drawn tight and level. This is to provide you with a guideline of having the same level and height for the other fences. Then, install all of the remaining line posts; make sure that it is plumbed and with the same height as the corner posts.
- If you are using vinyl type fence panels, it will consist of three sections which are the bottom rail, top rail and slats. Follow the manufacturer\’s guide in assembling the fence accordingly. When you finish assembling it, you need to snap each ends of the top rails and also the bottom rails accordingly into the appropriate holes of the fence posts.
- After that, you have to make a fast-drying cement mix to pour into the holes (the mix of fast-drying cement must adhere to manufacturer\’s instructions) and then leave the 2-inch-by-4-inch bracing overnight while waiting for the cement to dry thoroughly.
- The next step is to remove the bracing after the cement has dried and also to apply PVC cement into the inside of the post caps before finally installing atop posts.
